The Story of the Merriman Project

John and Dory Merriman of Goodwood Living had a small site at the end of a run of Victorian terraces. Having already undertaken a laser survey of the existing building, our Sips Eco Panels frame was designed to accurately match up to the existing buildings and be delivered and erected very speedily. The external panels, roof, internal partitions, joists and even the flat roof to the rear were all designed and supplied by Sips Eco Panels’ to the Merriman’s architect’s original design.

The Design

The design was for a 3 bed room property with an ensuite and a large Kitchen / Diner to the ground floor with separate Utility and Living Room to the front of the building. The build was attached from front to back to the existing dwelling including the single-storey flat roofed extension to the rear.

The Experience

This made us standout from other new-build houses in the area who all used traditional means of construction”

The Merriman’s are now in the process of getting planning permission on their second project for which they intend again to specify Sips Eco Panels.
