Energy efficient new homes at Lochford Gardens Dunbar

Sips Eco Panels is delighted to announce our involvement in the new Lochford Gardens energy efficient multi-home development in Hallhill Dunbar.

Energy efficient new homes at Lochford Gardens Dunbar

We are working with the award-winning architects at Sanderson Borland and the developers at Harrison Hunt.

The Lochford Gardens development consists of 37 energy efficient new homes built with our BBA approved SIPs system, with a mix of 3 & 4 bedroom detached and semi-detached family homes.

This development will break new ground so to speak in the way it utilises the benefits of energy efficient Structural Insulated Panels (from Sips Eco) and the first private domestic mini district ground source heat pump array.

Project aims include:

  • Reduce the carbon footprint on a typical house by 75%.
  • 80% fuel savings for a typical family.
  • High EPC rating.

Our director Matt Banks said “We are really thrilled to be involved in this innovative development in Dunbar.  The quality and specification of these new build homes look amazing and it is great to work with the team at Sanderson Borland to provide our award-winning Sip Panels for these new energy efficient new homes. All multi plot developers should be striving to reach this level of sustainable build.”
